Babymoon
This week is seriously busy for me. On Tuesday and Thursday, I have to volunteer with the junior league to set up a big fundraiser we have this coming weekend. On Friday night, John and I are going to the party that goes along with the fundraiser. On Saturday morning, we have our the hospital tour.
After the hospital tour we are planning on going on our babymoon. This is the last weekend until the end of April that we are free enough to go out of town until Graham comes. I am excluding May because I'm very busy at work in that month, and I'll most likely live there. ;) Plus the doctors want you to stay within an hour or so when you are that close to your due date.
We are going to go to Savannah, GA. This will be our last baby free trip together in a long time (we are going to MN in April together, but that isn't really a vacation). John has a couple conferences he is going to in March/April but I'm not invited to those. I don't think I would want to be along regardless since there is too much drinking involved. Dealing with drunk people is not high on my priority list right now. Especially a drunk John. I have no patience.

Nursery
We are finally starting to work on our nursery a little bit (we means John here). Right now, we think we are going to put up wainscoting (in white). John is starting work on that as I type. He is going to try to do it himself. Above the wainscoting, we are going to paint the walls a light green.
I searched on eBay to see what was out there with the bedding set we picked out. There is a person who sells these wall hangings with fish on them that match the bedding set. I ordered them last night. Hopefully they look nice.

In addition, we bought letters to hang up that spell Graham. Right now, our plan is to just paint them white and see what they look like. If that is too boring, we might try to do circles in blue, green, and brown.

I'm Crazy
Or at least completely irrational. Last night, John got home at like 7:30. He asked if I already ate, I had not. He asked me what I wanted, I said I didn't know. He started reheating leftovers for me. He brought them over. I ate them. I then got irrationally angry at him. I knew it was completely irrational. I moped. I cried. I eventually just left the house, and at the exact moment Mom called. She made me feel better. I went home again. I was fine. The really annoying thing is when I was upset, I knew the entire time it was just my hormones, and it was totally stupid. Yet I couldn't stop being upset. I think it is probably very frustrating to be married to a pregnant woman.

I win!
Because Kaci, Kelsey, and Kinsey have all been talking about how competitive our family is, I just want to point out I win at having the first grandchild. =) Maybe one of you can win at having the first granddaughter, but grandchild is all mine!

weird target thing
When I order something on target.com, I sign in using my amazon.com information. Today I was looking for that status of the changing table we bought to see when it would be shipping. I kept on signing in with my yahoo email address, and the order wasn't there. I then ordered my breast pump because it happened to be on sale.
I decided to try to sign in with the same email address with various passwords I use. Sure enough - another password let me sign in and there was the changing table (to be delivered on the 10th).
Very weird that amazon.com let me register the same email address twice with two different passwords. And now of course I have two outstanding orders at target under the two different accounts.
Here is a pic of the table:
Very exciting, I know.
Here is the crib too, it is already sitting in the babies room though. In the box.

22 weeks
Today is 22 weeks!
I had a doctor appointment today. Everything is progressing normally. I haven't felt Graham move much, so I was getting sort of concerned, but the heart beat was very good. So there was no reason to worry.
This past weekend, John and I were back in Iowa. On Friday night, Kinsey turned 21, and I went on the bar crawl. It was mostly a good time. On Saturday night, my mom hosted Christmas. Graham got some good presents, including ISU and Iowa onsies! There will be some great photo ops with those. My mom got him a cute outfit, some socks, and a cell phone toy. Melinda got me a book of a 101 ways to be a good parent.
Last week I read a book called Babywise. The whole book is how to set a schedule that will help your baby sleep through the night sooner. It all seemed very doable. The basic premise is to Feed, Play, Sleep, and repeat. I thought it was very helpful, but we'll see how it is in practice.
